So I took the D14 seat apart last fall. Finally got around to cleaning it up a little today. (Its only -4F out and we are now expecting a foot of snow). I thought I took pictures of the seat before I tore it apart. I either didn't take the pictures or I can't find them.
Does anyone have some pictures of the seat assembly? Pictured below is what I currently have. I will be sandblasting and painting before final assembly but I want to see if I can get it back together now. Also need to find some 1/2" rods and bushings as I had to cut most of the old ones to get them apart. Shock seems to be in good shape. Shock assembly (shock, spring, top and bottom cap) is not pictured because I have already cleaned them up, primed them and have them hanging in the warm shop.
As always, any help would be appreciated.

Looks like you are missing the narrow part in the picture above. I got all of the parts from DJS Tractor Parts. He is listed in the parts section on this site.

Let me know If more pics are needed I can take some of mine tonight.
In your restoration did you replace the shock? mine may as well be a steel rod, I can jump on the seat and the spring/shock doesn't compress more than 1/4"

I did not replace the shock, it seems to have good compression

The spring carries your body weight. The shock keeps you from bouncing up and down like a jack-in-the-box. The shock carries zero weight.

I replaced the shock and all of the bushings and rods. Was near 200 for it all.

Thanks to the photos above, I was finally able to get my seat assembled. What a pain in the ***. Had to heat all areas to get the remains of the rods I cut to come out. Now that I know how it goes back together, I can start restoring it.
Here are some photos for anyone else with the same problem
The seat pan has a crack. I will try to weld or braze that later. Had the day off today! NO SCHOOL! Winter storm hitting hard!

HV i had the same issue with my D 15 seat.
I had to go out the the plumbers house and take pitchures (as Less Says) of his and then mine fell right together.

My d17 seat has some cracks I haven't tried to repair it yet. I need to do something I guess before it gets worse.
