Why the smoke when it's supposed to be a gasser. Just askin'. Sure does look good. I don't think I would have had enough nerve to put it in the field.

Gas block but it is a diesel. Looks like it has block mounted water pump and you blocked the water pump mount on the head. Does this combo works well?

230 gas and diesel blocks are the same. There was some gas engines that had the two oil filter boses casted on block but not drilled for 45 diesel.    MACK

WE also used a 262 gas block for a D-17 diesel rebuild and friend used a gas block used in a D-19 diesel rebuild

Well I'll be darned. Could a 292 be done the same way? And I guess you could just leave it a gasser with no problem.
