The sign guy came by today and stuck the new decals on our old Paystar truck. We ended up not changing the shade of Allis-Chalmers blue as the others were so dark that they looked almost black. I noticed he added the hyphen between Allis and Chalmers so all is good with the world.

No, actually the former owners slid a new Cummins crate motor in it in 2004. Lots of power, but the cab is as plain and uncomfortable as they could possibly make it! Its fun going through the gears with a overloaded hopper bottom, but once you are up to speed, its like "ugghh".

Just pull the seat and put in a nice one with a good air ride it Wil be a totally different truck to drive. Seems stupid to spend money on a seat till you do it and realize how much more you like the equipment afterwards.

We pulled a good seat out of a junk truck recently with the idea of installing it in the pumpkin paystar. It also gets a new set of used tires off a wrecked truck we bought for that reason.
It whispered to me the other day that it appreciated all the attention!

David, that looks really sharp; makes me want to keep my Freightliner and paint it orange and out near decals on it too!

I have a 7080 that would gladly donate its engine for such a project. But keep the greasy hands off the engine in my 8550, its got spring tillage to do!
