I really don't have many pics of the dozer. The last two are of the belly pan and the HD11. I've needed to drop the pan and clean it out for awhile, but got inspired when I blew the bottom radiator hose. The blade is a narrow blade and was supposedly put on to be used for frequent hauling. It was referred to as an oil field special from what I was told. The belly pan is full of a lot of thorny sticks from hedge and locust trees I've been cleaning up.

I went out and took more pics of the blade and the dipstick to the transmission, and the dozer itself. Don't paint them with farm store paint. It really does fade. Can't remember what year I painted old rusty from yellow to Persian Orange. The seat cushions are for a IH tractor. The poor undercarriage is just about completely gone. I did however, have to put a new radiator, rebuild steer clutches, and a have the engine clutch rebuilt, replaced battery cables, and rebuilt starter last year since I have had it since 2004. Haven't used it much the last few years, but had took out some hedge trees last fall and blew the bottom radiator hose and am fixing that right now and put new thermostats. It wasn't overheated when the hose blew. Just thought I should replace them. You can see that is not a factory rops, but one built out of oil pipe.

Doesn't look too bad, Wouldn't want to roll it but the rops at least keeps the branches out of your face. I bet if you hauled it out to Mel's place he would get it rebuilt and painted in the next 5 or 10 years, when he gets around to it!

Well for the radiator hose fix any ways... A complete paint job the way David goes thru prepping and painting, maybe 5-10 hours... A complete teardown and back together might be 5-10 days... if they are working on other projects too... maybe quicker if they got on it without any rain. LOL

Dan, As I said earlier, I haven't seen one of those blades in person only the parts books. Thanks for the great pictures. The serial number would tell us the year for sure. It would be stamped on the case,on the back of the right steering clutch housing on the out side. It looks like there's nothing on the back of your tractor so it should be easy to see. Probably starts with 11B???? don't think it is an S series because it has the heavy (optional fenders) My guess is 1955/56. I'll look at the dipstick tomorrow, if it looks like it might be right I'll post some pictures with measurements.
