I'm still trying to figure out a way to get more traction in sand for pulling stumps. Could anyone tell me if these would fit my 616?

Or would the 6-lug bolt pattern match up to Chevy or Toyota wheel?

The rear tires on these series tractors normally are 15" and those were 24".

I believe the flotation tires on these tractors are 31 x 15.5 x 15.

15" ag tires would probably give you more traction. Wheel weights would also help.

Alan look for a set of 8/9.50x16 bar tires they would give you better grip than a truck tire, I got a set off a John Deere 4100. bolt pattern is 6 on 6. Right now I have a set of 29x12.50x15 bar tires on my 720 and they work fairly nice, lot of garden work. Not sure what size trees your pulling but I can't seem to get enough weight on to keep from spinning. Remember these are straight cut gears in trans and wouldn't take a lot to strip the teeth off, I have a parts tractor that has a couple of teeth missing, not sure how it happened. Just think that if you get into a hard pull they may break.

I have 15-20" stumps, I have a big 4:1 and a smaller 5:1 block-n-tackle set-up, I think I could (with many resets) pull them with a hand winch. Thanks for the info, I had found a pair of 6-4.5 wheels, now I know to pass.
