On my 8010 I am trying to put on a engine bypass oil filter. I Know they used to a sheet showing how to do it. I am also trying to install water conditioner filter on it. If anyone knows how I would appreciate the help Thanks

Save yourself a lot of grief and use good/pre-mixed antifreeze from Cummins or Caterpillar. Coolant filter creates about six more places for a potential leak. Keep it simple....use the right coolant to begin with.

Heavy Duty coolant come pre-charged with SCA's / DCA's . You do need to check the nitrite levels on occasion to make sure the concentration is at the recommended level. If the levels are low, you will have serious cavitation (electrolysis) cylinder lining pitting etc. The additive prevents the microscopic bubbles that when under pressure implode and actually rip pieces of metal off the liners or block.
The conditioning elements were widely used with the older green coolant that did not have supplemental additives.

If one would just simply CHANGE the coolant every two years, you'd never need to worry about testing it for proper strength.
