Since it is still raining, I decided to try to mount my (new to me) front cultivators on the CA.  I got the depth lever/lift assembly mounted ( a lot of fun by myself), and see that the two plates that the lift cylinder hooks to don't line up....one is rotated about 10-15 degrees forward of the other when the depth levers are in the same position. Nothing looks bent or re-welded...but it seems the plates should be in the same position??

Eldon - either email me a picture or post one one here of the parts your working on and I'll send you one of how mine is set up.  I've got a manual for the CA cultivators I could refer to, also.

Thanks Dwayne....it looks like I am missing the extension that goes from the cylinder to the depth arm assy...could use a pic of that. It would show how it hooks to each side. I used a piece of square tubing slipped over the end of the cylinder and bolted it to each lift tab, but the tubing was too light and bent already...plus I had interference with on of the gangs when I lifted it up. Also need see what the brackets for the rear scratchers look like...I'm missing them also. It looks like they might mount to the drop axles??

Built another HD linkage today for the lift cylinder and got that working good....now I just have to get the row spacing set  2" further out (adjusting nuts are rusty and rounded off), and new shovels put on....may do without the scratchers this year...
