The steel is not original. If you notice the steel spokes are welded to the rims for the rubber tires. It still has the original 9" wide rear rims. The steel kept the rims in perfect condition. Nice find and good luck with it. Amazing how those As keep popping up around here. 35 years ago when dad and I purchased our first one nobody in these parts seemed to even knew what an A was.

Update! A couple of new pics
 Finally got the motor back from the machine shop. Complete rebuild w\ all new babbits. I had to go to 5 1/4 pistons. Could not find new sleeves in 4 3/4. Added a starter pan and ring too. So far I have went thru the trans and replaced bearings. I am in the process of replacing ever seal and remaining bearings on the tractor. I will be adding more pics soon as well as a parts list for all seals & bearings as well as valves, springs and keepers.
