I can buy a nice WD 45 for just a $150.00..BUT...the owner says the rear end is locked up on one side. Like anybody else I think its just the brake locked up...UNTIL..I notice there are two differnt size tires on the back...and not just a little off size...4 or 5 inches ...SO...heres where the experts come in...What is the most likely mess here and is it worth fix'n ????

For  only $150.00 it would be worth it. You could always part it out and get your money back. If it's just the brake  like you think, then you got yourself one heck of a deal on a good tractor..  John

Don't know what the trouble is either, but run - don't walk - to close that deal!

Buy it! Could be a very simple fix.

I agree with the "Buy it Now" crowd. Any parts it may need in back are still plentiful.

Spider gears could be locked up in differential. Labor intensive but a used pumpkin should be easy to find if that were the case.

THANKS for the input guys...I am sure something in the rear end is locked or broke...I dont think it is good to have two different size tires on the back...BUT ...I thought since each side is independent for steering MABEY it would be an easy fix...I will go get it and keep my fingers crossed.... I may have parts for sale???

Good for you, Cobb. As said above, there's a very good chance that you can repair whatever is broken/jammed. If not, there are lots of WD45 owners out here who may need a part or two.

pull the brake rotor cover and ck.the brake assy.also ck the rotor and make sure it has not cracked and chunked out locking up the one side.all you have to worry about then is getting the brake shoe anchor pin out...

If you do well in pulling the brake rotors, try to change it to a new one. Brands like http://www.stylintrucks.com/sn.aspx?attribute_value_string%7CBrand=Roto+Tech+Brake - roto tech brake and others would be a good thing to have in order to compensate the performance of your vehicle.

If it runs well and you part it out, how hard would it be to get the engine to PA? lol

If only one side is locked up its most likely the brake. When you break a gear niether side will move a full turn. Its possiable to break a bull gear but very unlikely there pretty tough. I guess If one wheel is good its worth $150 and the rest is free. I would have pulled the money out of my pocket before he was done talking.
