| I ordered a new pivot pin bushing for my D10 last week from a local Agco dealer here. I can't find this part on line anywhere. Agco said it was available, but when I went to get it I believe it was the wrong part. First of all it was steel, not brass. Then it had an offset about half way down inside it. My front axle assembly has been modified. The pivot pin has been cut out, so I really don't know what it actually looks like. But from what I can tell from looking at diagrams and pictures the pin is smooth (the same diameter all the way). Likewise the bushing should have a smooth hole, one diameter all the way, with on offsets. It should also be brass. I left the bushing at the dealer and they are going to reorder it. They think someone may have pulled the wrong part or something. I was going to use this bushing to determine how big the pin needs to be, because I'm going to have to make it. Does anyone knows what the pin and bushing actually looks like. Any information would be helpful, length, diameter, etc. Thanks |

that sounds like the right part to me. I rebuilt the front on my D10 III in '85, it had a step back then too. ------------- |

Front bushing is steel. It goes in the WFE tube. Pivot pin IIRR is a bolt welded to front support plate. I kind of think bushing is stepped inside. If rear pivot and bushing are tight front bushing could be straight thru with less clearance. HTH Tracy ------------- No greater gift than healthy grandkids! |

It sounds like I may have been the one wrong here. This makes things more difficult, that means the pin will have to be machined down a little smaller on the end to fit. I also don't understand a steel bushing, steel to steel I thought was never good. I got another question, does the end of the pivot pin have a support bracket? One diagram I have shows one, although the one in my I&T manual doesn't. If it does, how does it fasten, and were does it fasten to the tractor? Thanks again Ranse. |

| On my B I used bushing for three point hitch .From a one to a two and used a hitch pin welded to front of tractor.Hole was worn almost to bottom of axle. |

| Tracy, are you saying the support was on the heavy duty frontend only? Because mine is the light duty and I didn't think it originally had one. I may add one anyway if I can do it without it looking junky. And the pivot pin should be smooth and fit the small side of the bushing?
