anybody ever had a 226 bored out to 4.5 inches? im having trouble finding pistons that fit with acceptable clearance.

Probe Pistons.com. they have all different sizes.

Diamond pistons in Michigan. They can make whatever you desire @ reasonable $.

you can get BBC pistons from summitracing up to 4.625 bore
