In the act of rebuilding my 37 WC
the shifter is really loose, I would like to tighten up the wobble in the gearbox

Is this a big project?

thanks

Paul

You will have to remove the shifter assy, disassemble the reverse lockout then remove the shift lever. Then you can check the groove in the shift lever and the pins in the tower and assess what all has worn- the holes in the tower, the pins, and the lever. Oversize pins are available, but if the groove in the shifter is worn you will have to have it filled and re-machined.
