I just got time to get the 45 running, only needed points and a condenser, so I thought I'd take a picture of both of them. The WD is a 1952, the 45 is a 1956 and has factory power steering. They both run on both gasoline or lpg and we're both running on lpg in the pictures. The WD's never came out on lpg but AC sold a kit so you could retrofit them. An engine kit was included in the kit as you needed higher compression pistons to burn the lpg.

Now that's a pair to draw to! With all the LPG tractors you have now might think about a LPG storage tank.

Don, that's the most important part of having lpg tractors. I took a tank up to the propnane dealer last year and he got me new valves and a bulk tank with the wet line and hose to fill up the tractor tank. I really like how quiet they run on lpg.

I've got a good friend that he and his brother have almost everything on LPG. D17 series 2, MM GB, WD-45 with dealer add-on (replaces gas tank) WD45 with factory propane, and a slew of others!

I've got their twin - triplet? Haven't run it much on gasoline, it runs really well on LP. I just mowed about 5 acres with it this weekend.
With the short shelf life of the current gasoline, I like propane more and more. Besides the WD, I've got a D19 and 190. Thinking about going that way with a B and a G at some point.

Did the WD ever come from the factory as a dual fuel tractor, or is that a conversion using WD45 parts?

Ted, WD's never came from ALlis in the lpg fuel version. I had a sales price book and it showed the kit to retrofit a WD but it is different that the 45 system in that the carburetor is different and has a different part number ( the key external difference is the air intake port is the WD size of 1 1/4" instead of the larger 45 size) and Included in the kit was an engine rebuild sleeves/pistons as you had to install the higher compression pistons to burn the lpg fuel. My WD in the picture has a nos dual fuel carb with the correct part number disc that I was lucky to get from a forum member.
