I had to let one of my B's sit outside for the last few months. It has a rain cap on the exhaust, but it still got water in all 4 cylinders. how did it get in? Is there a drain hole in the manifold to help stop this, that might be plugged? I know that my cubs has a drain hole.  the radiator is full so it didn't come from there.

John,
The manifold (female) accepts the muffler pipe (male) on the B.  So, water easily (relatively) gets in at joint where the two meet (pipe:manifold).  Several solutions include threading the manifold for a tapered pipe nipple or buying a CA muffler that has a shroud built into it to permit water to shed over the manifold and not into it.
Good luck.
Steve

Brothers d17 does it all the time he made a 4 inch cap from an old piece of aluminum irrigation pipe that goes all the way down to the manifold with a pipe cap on it no more water sneek in to him and dosent blow off when hauling

The under the hood muffler prevented that from happening as does the proper CA tall muffler. The tall muffler should have a drip edge around the bottom of the muffler, not rounded like many of the are. LOL Bob
