How prevalent are the AM 3199-1 15" inner wheel weights? Anyone know of any for sale and what they go for? Brad |

I hadn't seen a pair of those before, I scored a pair of these a week ago for $45 at an auction and a full set of lights for a 7000 series tractor for $10.

Right place right time Brian! I was with my son at a consignment auction in Princeville, IL. There was a very nice 190XT with a Farmhand loader that sold for half the price of a decent JD4020. Alan bought 3 14 foot tall maple trees for $60 each and a cute 8 foot field cultivator for $200 that he pulls behind his WD.

| I believe that the weights that John has are for the 16" front wheels. The 15" weights that Brad is talking about are not as common, and have more of a conical profile than the donut shape of the 16 inchers. I got mine very reasonably, probably because no one else knew what they were for... |

 For what it is worth, the ones I have are supposed to fit 15" or 16" wheels. I haven't tried them yet.

Brad, not sure what they are worth. I have a set with original bolts and I would not sell them period; they are the only ones I have ever seen personally. I plan to put them on one of my WD45's. | We have a set on a C we bought years back, and I have seen several other sets, so they are out there. The ones that I think are harder to come by are the 2 piece inner wheel weights for the D10-D12 tractors. I had a set of those and have only heard of very few other sets. They look almost identical to the B-C inner wheel weights, but look like they have been cut in half, which makes them much easier to install. I didn't realize that you had to take the hub off to install the 3199 weights, as we have never tried to take them off the tractor they are on. Also, It is my understanding that these weight were for the 15" wheel only for use on the inside of the wheel, and the "doughnut" style weights for the 16" wheels and could be put on the inside or outside. |

Regarding the 16" weights, they actually made an inside version, which is pictured above, that the hub can pass through, and then they made an outside weight that is actually almost twice the weight with a very small center that only the bearing cap can protrude into.
