I got a nice little Allis WF given to me a few years ago and started working on it, than got side tracked after getting the engine out. The engine was badly stuck and the head was trash. I pushed the sleeves and pistons out and then split the sleeves off the pistons to salvage the rods.

I had a very good set of lightly used sleeves and pistons which I'd been saving and which were installed in the cleaned block with new rings and bearings. All new seals and gaskets and a rebuilt head, oil pump and water pump and it was back together, and then installed back in the tractor.

This tractor has the nicest sheet metal of any that I have had. the Allis WF is fairly common in this are as it seems a large portion of the production was shipped to western Canada. I have another very good original that came from it's first owner that gets used around here quite often.

I'll have to decide what to do with this one as it runs and drives very well.

Nice looking tractor!  I need a set of fenders for mine.  If anyone knows of any that can be salvaged, I'd be interested.

WF are just cool. Like a cross between a WD and an IB.

Looks to be in about the same condition cosmetically as our 1950 model Thumbs Up Ours came from Calder SAK, you guys live in the land of no rotting and it makes me envious .  In spite of our efforts to preserve the condition of our WF it suffers from the humidity down here unless a person has climate controlled storage.

Not any more!  Sold the second one to a local young fellow and he did a super restoration on it.  He has posted pictures of it on this site.  He is just finishing off a WC that he bought from me.
