My little ever-ready bunny has a problem. I went to my garden area with a 5' 3pt bush hog and everything was fine. Cleaned up around garden and drove back to barn - about 1/2 mile. Was in a hurry and drove faster than usual -- some road, some gravel lane. Back at barn, shut it off and lowered bush hog. Ate lunch and went to work around barn area. Started the tractor and when I moved the lift lever, absolutely nothing happened. The lever seems to be tight on the shaft and the hydraulic level is full. Any ideas as to what has happened and how to fix would be appreciated. Thanks - Jim

Oh, forgot to say that it's my wife's tractor which she loves. She was to one to jump on it to work when it wouldn't lift -- guess who is in the dog house -- but I really didn't do anything , honest.  LOL

maybe the raise/lower speed adjustment knob under the seat vibrated all the way closed ?

You need to check the output of the pump...it is driven from the engine.  Could be anything from lost its 'prime' to a broken shaft.  Maybe even a plugged inlet filter.  There is a tube nut on the pressure line under the seat that you could remove and check for flow to start with.
