Well, add another addition to the corral of Orange machinery on the Barbato property. I'm now the owner of a pretty nice original RC. Special thanks to my Tractor pal Alan NJ for the tip. This tractor was on Craigs list. Went to look at it tonight. Pretty darn nice. The gentleman who I bought it from bought the RC from the original owner! Has a rotted rear round spoke wheel on it from the Calcium Chloride, but the other rear wheel looks to be in great shape yet. Looks like I'll be needing a round spoke rear wheel. According to the original owner, they were the wheels that came on it when he bought it brand new in 39'. I'm also getting the original paperwork and manuals that came with the tractor when it was new. Neat! Pics to come. BTW, popped the starter hole plug out (the first time that was removed) and there is a starter ring gear in dare! Yes! Electric start!! Hey Big Al, air up the tires on the trailer buddy. We have to go on another Big Al/ Lil' Steve great Tractor adventure! LOL! Steve@B&B

Steve, I had RC 126 but traded it for my 175D, the only tractor I wish I still had. I'll never get that one back, he also has RC 127 & shows them as "sisters". Neat little tractors, enjoy it. You should come to Fred's Saturday, I may need help if things get out of control LOL...Harvey

Congratulations Steve on your new purchase. I have never seen or heard of rear round spoke wheels on an RC. Are they 24" or 28"?

If Harvey is gonna be that late, and if Fred got to go get his work done before play time, maybe I should just go down to Brett Phillips place before I come over to Freds.
BTW Steve, the ride offer on the other post is still good, just call me if you can be there!

Glenn, I am going by Brett's place twice on Sunday, once south & once north. If Fred will put you up for sat nite I can save you some fuel money, or maybe that should read "put up with you"...Harvey

Steve, It doesn't seem right them picking on your physical demeanor. Stand up and fight back. Oh, you are standing. Sorry, I thought you were laying down. LOL
Nice addition to the herd. God Bless.

Shoot Dave! That's why they make rope ladders! I may have to hose clamp some blocks of wood on the pedals, but hey, whatever ya gotta do ya know? Dale, they were 24's. I'm wit' Dave Richards on that over 55 comment! Just like ma' man Fred, I'll never git' ahead either! Tim, I'm interested! I'll be heading North to my buddy's place in Upper Jay, NY in a few weeks. I go right through the Albany toll to get on the Northway. Maybe we can hookup off the Northway somewhere! Steve@B&B

I've got an rc w/ rear spokes on it . I didn't know some came that way new . theres always the controversy over the rear one notch , two notch, and now spoked rear wheels on a RC . the rims are bad on it though. I'm debating parting it out , or selling it.
