I may turn 50 this fall, depends on the health. I'll never get to one of these events which is probably a good thing as I believe I would become overwhelmed and have an complete emotional fracture. WOW! Just imagine the hours going into making all those machines look better than when they were delivered to the farm. Keep the pics coming, very cool, Trev.

I'm wore out from my vacation, but had a great time at Hutch today. We had a normal hot sunny day. Unlike yesterday when the tornado sirens went off. With the fields all wet, the threshing took place up on the tar. You can see Creston on the Roto baler. We were all wondering what the heck they were doing hitching up two tractors to run the thresher. One tractor alone can't run it, but the two together, no problem.  Tim

I think Shameless stopped at the Casino on the way home since he won enough on the way to Hutch to fill up his diesel pickup, so post to your hearts content!  Looks like if the pictures of him are passed around enough, he will never know who took them.  I'm staying in Fremont, NE tonight, not far from the Shameless ranch.  Considered going by his place with some pink spray paint but I don't know if his old lady, er loving wife is a good shot or not.  Maybe next time.
BTW, it was great to  meet so many of you forum posters.
Oh and Creston, sorry Dale embarrassed you in front of your mom with the thong thing...

I stayed sunday night at the casino, when I signed up for the room, they gave me $10. in free play money and $10 off any meal. they then had me spin a roulette wheel thing, and I won a free buffet off that, so I went and ate the all you could eat prime rib and shrimp! then took the free $10 and a few more $$$ that night into the casino. won $104 dollars, then went in and went to bed! gots up Monday AM, went and ate my $10 breakfast of steak and eggs, hash browns, toast, and coffee! went back into the casino, and played about 2 hours. came home with $421.00 and change extra. WooHoo! ain't figgered out what I gots for mileage yet. will do that tomarrow when I gits my figgers and clean out my truck! the dogs was happy to see me.

We headed back to the motel before the rain got real serious on Saturday and kicking myself for not staying for the forum meeting!!! That evening we drove down to Rockwood City to the casino for dinner and to kill some time. Made a few 100. About 80 miles from Litchfield.
Today we are in Aberdeen, SD visiting family, and will move to Deadwood tomorrow for the night. Then down to Denver to visit our kids again over the weekend. Tuesday back to Show Low.   It was great meeting a lot of you on Friday!! Missed meeting you Shameless!!! But I'm hoping someone will leak a photo here before long!! LOL

Sure wish I could have made it there this year. I had planned on it but it was the weekend my oldest daughter had to be moved to Decorah Iowa for her new position in the management program for a grocery store chain. But seeing that part of Iowa was nice too and it was a big step for my daughter to be out completely on her own.

I finally got to talk with the Lapp's after the show after they had loaded their truck.  Had never met them before.  I believe I heard they have 18 D21's but didn't get the one sold at the auction in Kiowa, Co last month.  Did get some D21 parts there though.  Hope to get out to their place sometime and see the collection.

Is WDman1951's picture of a combine built over around a tractor a original Gleaner or is there a earlier model yet?  My dad always talked of one a mile down the road from the   place he grew up on when he was a kid.

Kind of surprising how many small combines as the larger Holt,Harris and Cases where around from the beginning out here.

Thanks for the great pictures.

Shameless your the reason I stay away from the casino if you is always winning they would need mine to pay you.
