I,m looking at at hd11 EP they said it would just quit moving. Then in a little while it would start back. don't know what to look for. Was thinking about buying it just not sure weather to make the leap. Don't know if I can get trans. Parts . Any thoughts would be nice.has anyone every had this problem .thanks.

you have to be abit mechanically minded to own bulldozers; esp older ones most problems come back to maintence or lack of. if a powershift machine won,t drive or steer its usually oil related. might be lack of oil, wrong oil; blocked screens or filters. damaged lines causing it to suck air, the lists go on. All comes back to knowing how the system works and going through a process of elimination. And always do the easy things first.
Is 2 series of 11ep tractors, first series had twin disc torque converters; later ones Rockford. Were a good tractor in there day, made from about 64-70. Where replaced by The HD11 series B which came out in 70 and these were also a very popular machine.
