Have a D21 in Beausejour, MANITOBA that i need hauled to Madison Nebraska. Curious if anyone knows of a good trucking outfit that hauls tractors. Would like to get it on a load with something else so i do not have to pay for a complete load. Please let me know if you know of anyone that trucks across the border. Or if someone knows of a trucking company that could get it into North Dakota my trucking friend could get it from there. Thanks again.

Jason. Be sure the tractor is actually there before send a trucker to pick it up. Two years ago I made arrangements several weeks in advance to pick up a 200 for a friend who had paid for the tractor weeks before that. When I called Vern a day before to get directions, the tractor suddenly wasn't available, so I made the 1500 mile trip home with a big space on the trailer and my wallet lighter because no money for freight. It seems that ol'e Vern sells tractors before he actually buys them and in this case the guy he bought the 200 from was away on vacation and the tractor was locked up in the guys shed. To Vern's credit, my friend got his 200 a month later and it was everything that Vern said it was and my friend was very happy.

Using a freight broker works well. That is how I moved my D grader from southern Saskatchewan out to the west coast of BC. You just give them the particulars of what from where to where and they put the information out to all the truckers on their list and have the interested truckers come back with a bid price.
