Ok another weekend, another pull, what to do?
Picked up and installed new shims as was told to do. Have 2-.015 shims on low side and 4-.015 shims on high side. Low side slipped in 4000lbs class. High side  was fine in 5000. Question, should I remove one more from low side or do I need to start think clutch rebuild?
Note, handle snaps alot better now than before.    130 + hp    4mph    15.5s

I believe I'd tighten up Low side some more before a clutch rebuild. I'm a little confused on your gear selection. I usually run Low third in a 6000 pound class and High third in a 4500.

THanks Doc. Just trying to feel this thing out. Would have tried low 3 but when it slipped in second thought it best to see if high side would hold.

We pull in 3 low but when it slipped in the 4500 I tried 2 high to see if it was the clutch or the PD in the 5000

Yep, Dr. A,  5000 lb 4mph class. Had over 400lbs on the nose and needed more.  Good biting track. 2nd gear high side placed 3rd in class. Got by  a couple good running MMs. Just need to get the low side to hold. Will try tightening low side some more.
