I drove a 190XT today.  Might want to by it, but worried about the Power Director. I could shift it from low to high, but it did not want to stay put in neutral.  I had to really stand on the brake to try to get her to stop.  Could not hold her back in lower gears.  My D17 does this until the oil is warmed up good.  Is the 190 the same?  What would the worst case be?  Need to rebuild the PD?  Kind of need it to work for PTO work.  Thanks!

Glen

190 is the same as D17 in neutral.  It will creep when the oil is cold.  Go and plow the field for a few hours and it should be fine.  There is nothing wrong with it.

My 190 you can barely hold it back with the brakes when cold. I put my 6' finish mower on it and after mowing for 15 minutes I was suprised it stopped moving when I went to nuteral with no brakes. Mower continued working. I didn't think it would stop since it never stopped in the winter but it never warmed up without a load.

My 190 does the same thing as well But here the kicker I was discing with it today and I noticed a bad vibration when I was low third and little on the high but not as bad.... I just rebuilt the PD 2 years ago....what could be causing this vibration and should I be worried.
