Was curious those of you who participate in Natpa pulls: 1. Has the wheelie bar rule for Div I killed attendence? 2. Opinions/ observations on change to 4mph in DIV III. Seems to me this would discourage Div II tractors bumping up and would cut hook $. Currently we are not required to have wheelie bars until the fast class in our club but I can see this coming in the future. Last pull we had a puller with a Oliver 66 standard which is a very short tractor. He stood it up on takeoff as he has done for the last 15 years and kept on going. Later we had a spectator come over and tell us someone is going to get killed. | The speed increase from 3.5 to 4.0 MPH is a pretty big deal. It will discourage Div 2 or Div 3 top cuts from competing, because the "big" engines will start to really show their stuff at 4 MPH. |

im assuming you mean Div 2 top cut? assuming a div 3 tractor keeps using the same engine as before the rule change..... Does the momentum gained from .5 mph overide the torque loss from the higher speed?
