Just wondering if these tracks are too tight. Seems every dozer I've seen had a little bit of slack.

Need a little droop in them or they wear faster.Those are too tight in my opinion.

Hard telling without the tractor moving; it may have been backed into there and all the slack is on the bottom.

Thanks. I know there's a specification on the amount of slack but, a trained eye can do just as well sometimes.

Also, check the number of links in the track. a common "farmer fix" is to cut a link out of a too loose track.  You need to count the # of links, find the specification, and check.  If a link is cut out, count on a new set of chains, and possibly a lot else worn out...
