When these tractors came out did they have anykind of insulation in the dash to quiet it down in there? When i got the tractor it had fiberglass insulation shoved in there and the mice loved it, and were chewing the wires up so i took it out. I know its going to be loud especially with the straight pipe but if I wanted to you couldn't even here the radio in it. Also does anyone know where you can buy a new or used handheld tachometer?

ac used big foam blocks, different sizes, yes...the mice loved them too. i took mine out, and there is a little more noise, but not that much. not sure what we can use that the critters won't find likable.
