Has anyone mounted a Woods L306L mower under an Allis D12? My lawn mower CA with the Woods L306 mower developed a serious illness (slipping hand clutch) and cannot handle its lawn mowing tasks until I can get it into the shop and I was wondering what it would take to mount the Woods mower under one of my Series I D12's for the season (or beyond). Pictures and other technical advice would be helpful.
Thanks in advance

Usually you need the brackets to fit the tractor. You also have to make sure it turns the correct way. The L stands for Left turning blades.

Check with Woods they may have Mounting Brackets in stock.

Also, remember that if this is an early D-12 it does not have live PTO.  The mower blades could have the tendency to "drag" the D-12.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the photo and reference for a Woods mower setup on a D12, it is a really different setup than what is on the CA!

The D12 I have has a flat belt pulley on the pumkin just like a CA and the distance between the finals measures the same as my CA. Am going to attempt mounting the woods mower and V-belt pulley from the CA unto the D12 as it appears that the rear support will bolt up to the finals and the flat belt pulley can be replaced with the V-belt pulley from the CA. Will need to figure out a way to raise the deck.
A picture of the rear of my D12 with flat belt pulley:

I will lose the draw bar on the D12 as the lift arms on the CA are different. Will update the ppost after I get the mower mounted.
