I contacted my local ppg dealer wanting Persian orange 2 and gave them the code 60396. They said it was an old code for leaded paint. Has anyone else had this problem? If so is there an updated code?

My local NAPA store has all the codes, might want to check with your local store.

60396 is the correct and current code for PPG. I just bought it at FinishMaster a couple of months ago.
OMNI MTK 60396

Rick; Is your paint guy under 30? I've used a good amount of MTK Omni paint but PO1 MTK60080 This spring I went into paint store and there was a different guy there, older and he told me about PPG having a different product called AUE-360, single stage urethane less money than Omni so I'm going to try it on a red tractor as soon as the weather warms up. Fact sheet says uv ratting at 60* angle for 500 hr's is 100% so we will see. All this to say some guys try to help the customer and some don't care.

The last time I got PPG PO1 they said same thing about lead but also had a current formula and were still able to mix it, look for another paint store IMO.
