On our D-19 the auxillary Hydraulics are sooooo sllooooowww! We had a 12 ft disk hooked up..i bet it took about 30 seconds to raise it up. they are so slow. What is going on? The Arms raise up real fast and hold pressure. But the aux. are very very slow.

What kind of cylinder are you using? I'm not familiar with the 19 but if it has the high pressure low volume set up, you need an Allis one way (small displacement ) cylinder. If you use a regular say 4 inch it will take a long time.

Our D19 will do the same thing if you use a oneway cyl (AC CYL). It will run a two way just fine. Dad said it has never ran a one way right, and ive have never seen it run it right either. I had it hooked to a 13 ft disk it wouldnt raise it hardly at all (one way cyl) with a two way, up and down like clock work. My advice is put a two way on it and you should be fine

Austin, I would try to find an Allis one way remote cylinder to borrow from somebody to figure out what is wrong. An Allis high pressure cylinder takes way less oil to extend (therefore extends faster) than any SOB 2 way cylinder.

Connect the SAME 2-way cylinder to the tractor and see how fast it works when not connected to the disc (no load)....if the speed is good, you must have a relief valve problem with the tractor. You say the lift arms go right up?? but they're not lifting anything...try the 2-way ram with no load.

Possible coupling or inside hose restriction.

As Bob said, look for a restriction somewhere in the coupling or hose. Also if your using a 2 way cyl. with one hose you must open the other end of the cyl. to vent.
