Late WD, has WD-45 transmission, shifter tower rebuilt, new temp Gage. three bolt wide front. Matched set of rear tires (50-60 %), the normal rot around valve stem. The three point hitch and tire chains do not go with it. It's a real strong runner, but does puff a little blue smoke when stating cold. I'd like to get $1500, but will entertain offers.
The hour meter and traction boost gages do not work. The hydraulics and PTO work fine. I will put a couple of pics here, if you are interested e-mail me, I'll send some more. It's killing me to let this go, but, times being what they are, yada, yada, yada
Also, I rebuilt the carb last year

I'm suprised.  I would think with the wide front, good rubber all the way around and the condition of the tin, she would be gone already.  Nice tractor Lou, wish I needed another project and we were closer.

Might be a dumb question, but how SHOULD the hour meter operate? Is it just electronic based on if the tractor is on or not, or is it hooked up to the engine and measures RPM's or something?  I guess I just don't know.... and am curious.

Jacob,
Not a dumb question at all. I don't know for sure, because it has never been connected since I bought it, but, I suspect that it is simply an electric clock movement that is energized from the ignition switch.

I believe the hour meter works off of the engine oil pressure. My dad's WD45D had one just like it when he got it. There was a sending unit that was on a tee in the base of one of the oil filters. The sending unit had two screws for wires that ran to the hour meter. His hour meter works fine, unfortunately the sending unit does not work.
