I asked AGCO about the font AC used over the years....if anyone would know it should be them. I Also asked them about decals for tractors and implements...like the old balers, foragers, planters....ect. This is what they said. i went on the website they gave me and I couldnt find anything.

Hi Austin,
After some research, I have found that the font was custom made and not available for use. And you can always download our publicly available logos at agcomediaplace.com. Thanks for your interest and sorry I could not be more help. Best of luck!

Austin,
It is not uncommon to have a custom made font. So if you were looking for them to respond with "Times New Roman" or something like that they can't. As for the website, I only use the public section also and I found a section with logos for the heritage brands. If you tell me what you are looking for; I might be able to help direct you to the location and once you see that you will easily find other items.

I know...I was just wondering if they had old decals on hand and would know. Like for the Roto Balers, Choppers, Planters. I mean you can get decal kits for tractors...what about implements?

I understand now. Yeah, the website given will get you nowhere for ordering decal kits. I think the person responding to your questions miss-understood you also. I don't know the answer on implement though. Sorry, I can be of no help.

Steffensen,
I couldn't find any heritage logo brands.  Could you point me to the right place?

Thank  you,
Byron

Sure no problem... Now don't take offense but I am going to start at the very beginning and might say to do some things that are obvious.

Click http://208.255.231.62/mediabin/ - http://208.255.231.62/mediabin/
When you get to the website click on enter below the public access section.
New window opens
Click the square button on the top left that says AGCO Your Agriculture Company
New window opens
Now there are a couple of ways to get to where you want from here. But I will explain the one that seems easiest to me. On the left hand side of the browser you will see what I call a project or explorer tree. (may take a little while to load)
In that tree click the + by the Media Database folder
Click the + by AGCO parts folder
Click the + by Images & Graphics folder
Click the + by the logos folder
Click the Heritage Brands folder and you should see logo files appear in the main viewing box.

And before someone says it, I know this process is ridiculous.

Alot of ALLIS-CHALMERS's decals were made by the MEYERCORD Company,  hence the little "MC"'s in the bottom corners on alot of your original tractor decals.  They are out of Carol Stream, Illinios.  I found a website for them so they must still be in business.  They would have more info on the fonts used since they were making the decals for A-C than AGCO would, getting somebody there to look that info up will be another thing I bet.

Yeah, that's pretty crazy process.  The logos are cool thought thanks.  I looked under AGCO and AGCO tractors before but didn't think of parts.  Those would have really come in handy when I was doing my AGCO/Oliver, etc. logos.

I have to say some of the older logos are really cool.  I especially like the cockshutt and Oliver ones.

Thank you,
Byron
