I am still helping AC pullers in the area. This pulling season, I have been working with A guy on A 8030 AC. He ended the year in first place points in one class & 2nd in an other class, not bad for the first year out.        STONEY PIPES

Stoney I guess you've come a long ways from that old WD-45D.    Leon  CMo

That old WD-45D was the beginning of a long learning period in my life, as time goes on the, learning continues. In the last years I pulled it, I won the points championship in the 4,500 lb. super-stock class MSTPA. At that time it was on gasoline with 2 compound   turbochargers, 247 cubic inch. The rules changed, to not allow 2 turbo in the 4,500 lb. class. Knowing the power-train, wouldn't stay together, in 5,500 lb. class. At that point I
quit pulling it.

You know stoney that changing the rules is not all bad. It can make the good get better. By the way is henry still kicking? Henderson would never made it as long as he did without him.  Leon   Cmo

Henry is still at it, at 87 years old. He sold the Henderson Implement Company name, but still owns the old property and buildings. Him & his son John still have A trucking & repair business at that location. Working on older tractors, & selling parts for them.

Amazing! He gave me the first advice I got on how to fix the govenor on a WD we had, back in 1958. Had no idea what it would lead to. By the way, do you remember your dad giving a little black and tan pup to probably the reddest headed kid you ever saw? Didn't have any coon dog in him but if it ran up a tree he treed it. Treed his first squirrel at 5 mons. Take care.   Leon  Cmo
