Well my tour of work in Jacksonville is winding down ive got 3 weeks left on the job and will be returning back to home. (NW Ohio) Im currently looking to get hooked up with a construction company traveling and doin shutdowns out of Fort Wayne In. I have welded structural in accordance to ASME section IX and AWS D1.1. I also have experience welding stainless steel and aluminum in accordance with military standard 1595-A and 2"-10" pipe in accordance with ASME section IX and API 1104. I prefer to find work doing TIG on any size pipe preferably stainless but open for anything. Check the websites for Shaw Group, or maybe for nuclear welder. I work at a nuke and I can honestly state there is a hurt for ASME and TIG qualified ASME welders that can float a decent weld. Shaw is currently the supplier for most facilities in the US with a few odd other contractors, Daniels International and Bechtel are two additionals. Many times they will work through local union halls. Nukeworker.com sometimes has positions listed with nuke piping being primarily stainless with chrome alloys for the steam side. |
