Thats enough to drive a man crazy trying to figure out why his tractor runs a little while and quits.

I hadda big ole carpenter Bee (Bumble bee) that would suck down the drain, when the tank was about a quarter full, on the D-14.  Bout drove me crazy one fall.  Stuck a camera down into the tank to see him, pulled him out with one of them choke cable grabber things...

Had the plastic cap for a five gallon gas can break off several years ago. Forgot about it until the tractor wouldn't run. Found it stuck in the valve for the fuel shutoff recently.

How about 2 gallons of dirty water. The 190 i receantl got kept having water in the sediment bulb. I pulled it out  in the past some one had added a 2' tall tube to the valve. I pulled it and got 2 gallons of water out of the right side.  put a new valve in and draind it every day for a few days. now I get clean fuel out. Ill change the left one in the spring. it too cold to mess with it right now.  looking in the fuel cap it looks like they put about a 10' tall tube on it.

I had a plastic button off a coat show up in a D-15... would run until it sucked back in the hole...if you know there is a riser in your tank..you need to flush it once in a while by taking the sediment bowl off completely...Mark

Ford 5000 I bought had developed a seam leak during the winter so I just put a little fuel in it to do some thing till late spring. I removed it after draining all I could out of it.
After I removed it I turned it up side down to plug the out let and do the cleaning then add seal. Some thing was rattling around in there and I wasn't able to shake it out I get a flash lite and look inside and find not one but two of those fuel can caps with the plastic thingies so they don't fall off the spout.

But if I had a big old bee come around as I was filling a tank I'd let him have the tractor for as long as he needed it.lmao

Feed sack strings and strips. Plastic hydraulic hose caps. Electrical tape. Asian beetles. Don't know how any of it got in the tanks. Also a 9170 that had a dollop of silicone floating around in the tank. That was a factory screw up.

I've recovered many fuel gauges.  Well, actually just sticks, but I bet I know how they got there.

Jim sounds like a case of stick to short...
Well I haven't found anything bad in my tank since I started using a funnel with a strainer before that I found several bits of grass in the carb that didn't help the needle seat any better.. bit filling it up in the middle of the hay field I'd didn't surprise me much.
