looking for a estimated size for the brass block in the rear end,  as in length and thickness

To insure the ring gear keeps in contact with the pinion you install a block between the back side of the carrier and the rear end housing to keep it from spreading apart under high horse power/ torque other wise the pinion will clean the ring gear teeth off

O OK never heard any one here doing that but we ant run but around 250 out of the ones here loljust farm class .sorry iI can't help have u talk to Larry wight he may know .

It's something you won't really need to till you get to high hp mark but since i'm in there and it's staring me in the face I'm going to do it

Been a while since I've looked at one but memory says 3 or more inches tall and an inch square. Whatever it takes to attach to the right sidewall and just clear the ring gear.
