Well, I made another year. This Saturday will be my birthday. I will be 82, alive and healthy. I want to take the time to thank all my fellow forum members for being so much fun to talk to and for putting up with my old remembrances and remedies. I have been pleased to see the knowledge increase so much. Don't think I have not learned too. Since 1994 I have thoroughly enjoyed being here. It has re-kindled my interest in Allis Chalmers and has given me contacts throughout the world. I have been pleased to meet some of you at the GOTO's I have attended. Also, we have used this forum to start the Mid Atlantic Allis Chalmers Club. It has indeed been my pleasure to participate. Let me take this time to wish all my fellow Allis Chalmers Forum members a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope to be able to do this again next year. Good Luck! Bill Long
ps: We all owe Daryl a vote of thanks for making this forum available to us all.

Happy birthday and a Merry Christmas to you.
To Daryl, I thank you for this site. I too have started posting on here back in the 1990's. Have meet some very good people from your site. We have lost some to illness and prayed for them too. We share laughter and traded stories of all kinds. It is a second family for me. One I hope to never lose. Thank you for all that you have done for us and a Merry Christmas to you.

Happy Birthday Bill. A thread about saving a B wouldn't be complete without Bill Long saying "thanks for saving one of my favorites".
You told me once that the B, the WC, and the All Crop are the machines that made Allis Chalmers. I have 2 of the three and am working on the third. You inspired me to do that, and I thank you much for it.

Bill, Congratulations on reaching 82. I wish you many more. Based on what I've gathered from this post, it sounds like you owned an AC dealership in Maryland. I love these tractors, especially the B and C, and, I for one, would love to hear about your past. Do you think you could post about the dealership? When you owned it, what you sold, options on the tractors? Anything. I really like to hear history. Best, Steve
