I have used two generic pressure gauges and two different connector tubes.

When I start the tractor the gauge stays on 0.   Sholda timed it but after approx 30 seconds the needle starts to creep very slow off 0.  It continues to creep up and stabilizes right at 32.

When I shut it off the pressure stays up for a short period of time and then very slowly creeps down to zero.

oil filter is a PH 8A which I thought was right.

The motor sounds solid as a rock.

What do you think?

I think you're worried about something that is normal. The OEM oil line that goes from the oil filter base all the way to the dashboard is very small and has a lag time to fill and pressurize and likewise to release.

Sounds about right.  Never had much more than the r in normal, on the NOS gauge.  These ain't high speed engines, 10 lbs/thousand rpm is about right...

Thanks, I was just used to them jumping right up like on my Ford and JD, course the JD is screwed right into the filter base.
