Hi all-

I am the proud new owner of a new (to me) Allis B. It has a F-M mag, and a generator with electric start. Serial number tells me it's a 1945 model. It's no beauty queen, but it'll do the job until I can clean it up and paint it. It's got a belly mower. The previous owner said it's a Woods, but didn't know the model number. It's too crusty for me to find any make or model. I need a set of casters wheels for it. Can anyone ID the mower (confirm make and provide model #)? Once I know what it is, can anyone suggest a good place to get a pair of casters for it?

First photo is the mower, and second is the entire tractor as it arrived in my driveway today.

L59 model..  You can get generic wheels at Farm store, but your missing the mounting brackets and shaft.

Definately a Woods L59. Manual is on line. Do a search on Woods mowers. Parts are available from Sandy Lake Implement  888-252-0656 and others. I've used that set up to mow for 30 years. If you have a lot to mow it can't be bear. The L59 is still sold today

Hey, you got hydraulic lift too. I got my L59 about 13 years ago. I wished I would have had it 30 years ago. It does a great job of mowing mounted on the B. I used mine on the CA for years, which makes a better mowing unit but mounted on the B it comes in a close second.

Thanks to all for the ID'ing, and thanks to Steve for the documentation. Truth be told, this B is wretched excess for my lawn. I just bought a house with an acre or so back yard, and have wanted a vintage tractor since I was a kid. This house gave me the excuse, for less money than a new riding mower would cost. I haven't seen many loaders for the B, but found one on Craigslist a short distance away. It's a tubular loader with a trip bucket and no down pressure. Don't imagine the B would want to carry much weight, anyway.
