is there a differance between wd45 manifold and 170 175 manifold ? what are the differances?

The only real difference is how the muffler attaches to the exhaust outlet.

170-175-manifolds are threaded for a pipe nipple---wd45 is not

The WD45 and early D17's are the same, but the later D17 Series III & IV and the 170/175 all have the threads in them for a screw in pipe that the muffler clamps to.   Rick
