Anyone watching the tractor in Iowa that he's calling a Speed Patrol? He now knows it's not a Speed Patrol but I can't believe the bidding on it, it's at $4000 with 2 days left. http://cgi.ebay.com/ALLIS-CHALMERS-SPEED-PATROL-ROAD-GRADER-/330426024636?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ceeed02bc - http://cgi.ebay.com/ALLIS-CHALMERS-SPEED-PATROL-ROAD-GRADER-/330426024636?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ceeed02bc

I suspect it's bringing some bucks because it isn't a speed patrol, but a conversion that isn't often seen. It looks like a factory built conversion, and not a farm built modification. Perhaps it's built by Detroit Harvester, Drott, someone like that, and relatively scarce. Certainly more scarce than a speed patrol. That's my four cents worth. (that's two cents worth with an inflation factor)

Mine that was converted to hydraulics cost me $3000 and it runs good and looks better too.

This B pic has been posted before, but the grader conversion built by Hi-way Service Corp in Milwaukee looks very similar.

That nose extension does look alot like it. Wonder what weighs? The Speed Patrol weighs about 2600 pounds more than a standard WC, almost double.

It needs fenders and the gas tank otherwise similar to the one posted above it runs drives with good hydraulics.
