Joe, thanks for the great pictures. Among your pictures I noticed a C
with a green mid-mounted mower. Does anyone know who manufactured this
unit? My '56 B has the same mower on it which I have been unable to

Thanks guys. I did a Google search and came up with some good info. It looks like Continental Belton was acquired by AG-Meier which is still in business. When I bought the tractor I thought the mower was junk, but was surprised to find out it cut great when I got it home. It is built like a brick you-know-what.

yep, continental belton was in texas... my belly mower is somewhat different than the photo.. the angle gear box sets 18 inches behind the tractor on top of a 3 point frame and there is a pto drive shaft up to the tractor. bottom belt looks similar, no twist, etc... runs forever.. mine was built for a 8N with a 3 point lift, that might be the difference. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

| Brian, I've got that same mower on a C that I have here,except someone must have thrown the top belt cover away in the junk pile or something! LOL! It does do a great job of mowing though. If anyone has just the belt cover they want to sell,let me know. Rick |
