Okay Don, I waited a little over 3 days (72 hours +) just to be safe and to make sure you were not wrong in your other post about the pictures...so here they are...

Plow day last Saturday went off really well.  Only 3 guys and 3 tractors:  Don Bradley aka Don(MO) brought one of his WD45 and used his 73 semi-mount plow.   Joe Oligschlaeger aka JoeO(CMO) drove my D17 Series IV with a 73 mounted and I was on my One-Eighty gas with a 74 mounted.  But we knocked out 16 acres in about 4 hours of seat time with 10 bottoms total going.  This also including the timeout for me to walk back to the house to get a new fan belt and install it when mine broke plowing the first field (south 6 acre hilltop).  Cindy and boys showed up in time for lunch and watch us finish the 10 acre NW bottom.

The only minus was Travis, my lime spreading guy (who also brought the unstyled WD to plow day last year), had a breakdown on his spreader truck and the lime didn't get down before plowing.  He'll spread on top the plowed ground and we'll just field cultivate it in before planting.

South Hilltop pics:

Finishing up the last bit:

Victory declared on the hilltop!

This will get me started...I'll put the NW bottom pictures in a reply.

THANK YOU to Joe & Don for helping me get this done.  We had a GREAT time!  Mike

Those are awesome pictures! Almost looks like something out of the sales brochure. On a side note, that doesn't look much like Ellisville to me.

Thanks for posting before I leave for GOTO Mike. It would have driven me crazy(IER) to have to wait until I get back in a couple weeks to see those. Looks like all had a fun day and I didn't even see anyone stuck. God Bless.

-and a view that always looks good!

I had a good time.  It has been many years since I was on a Series IV with a plow in tow and it seems like time stood still.  I want to get my 185 out and if nothing else hook to the plow and think of how much dirt I can turn over.
Mike and Don, it was fun!

The picture of my D10 III from a 2006 plow day at my neighbors, the farm where I grew up, just had to travel across the property line for it.   I need to find a few more parts for the plow and it will be ready for more plow days.

Joe

Mike, sorry I had to rush home, had a date for the evening!

Mike, that ground sure looks better for plowing than it did last year! It looks like you three had a great time and got some work done too! It's too bad that I couldn't make it this year, but I'll be there this fall...weather permitting. Thanks for sharing the pics,Mike...I always enjoy looking at them.
Don...I guess the plow worked okay for you then? I bet you missed having to pull me out of the mud,huh ol' plow buddy? LMAO!

Thanks Mike, I can stop trying to count the days now. LOL
Mike and Cindy aways makes you feel welcome at there place, Plow day at Mike's is like it was back when I was a kid on the farm.
Joe and I had a ball.  Seeing the boys playing it the creek is always good too.
Joe knows his way around the field with a plow behind him, He made Mike's D-17 talk!

Too bad you're so far away. I said something to the wife about going. Her answer was one of "those looks"...
