On my B I have had two filterbowles that leak with the pet cock closed. I have reinstalled them a couple of timen and tightened the pet cock packing nut.. One of the bowles is a new value built. Anyone have a similar problem?

is the leak where the bowl is threaded into the tank or is the shout off valve leaking?

I think it leaks around the pet cock.

Maybe the petcock needle is worn?  Maybe there is some junk in the needle seat?  Is the gasket between the bowl and housing worn?

Try tightening the packing nut on the pet cock.  Snug it up until the pet cock is fairly stiff to turn.
