How or what is the best way to remove the calcium from my 16.9x28's and what do I do with it once it's out?

I took a hose that fits over the stem and put it on with the stem on top, then rolled the tire and let the fluid run into buckets. As far as getting rid of it, take it to a tire center that does fluid tires. The one in town just dumped it in their tank and probably sold it to the next guy.

I took my tractor to town and they pumped it out at no charge. Of course they kept the fluid.

If you want all the CaCl out get it pumped out at the local tire shop. If you can can stand to have some left in a place on the farm you want the grass to die and pull the valve steams and let in run out make sure the valve is on the bottom. Also have a hose to wash the rims and tires off. Then put the valve steams back in the tires and pump the tires back up. Best if done with a portable air compressor.

Mike, I had Williams Service in Colfax dismount my old tires. All they did was hang them in the air and let the fluid out on the ground. It's good for killing grass and weeds. Once I had the tubes out, I used my shop vac to suck out the left over fluid in the tubes. Worked really well.
