Gentlemen,
I have a D17 block, 5.6 stroked crank, 4.6 pistons @12.1x1 cr and will have new rods built. My ? is, would anything be gained, other than fattening my machinists pocket, by having larger valves installed? RpM's will be well under 3k. This will be in a WD puller @ 373cid.
tks

Yes but the benefits will be limited by the very poor-flowing head and manifold. Best do some porting and bowl blending as well, if not already done.
