I'm looking at an old gleaner A2 combine. It is in excellent shape and always shed kept.  I'm wondering what a fair price for it would be. thanks Mike

I paid $500 for mine plus $300 to have it trucked from Decatur Illinois to Oblong, Illinois.  It came with a 240 head, but I purchased a 330 for it.  I probably paid too much, but I have always had a fondness for the A2s.  Not really sure why, but I have always thought that they were a neat machine.

I also paid $500 for mine a few years ago.  It has a 330 head and a grain head in need of repair.  Hauled it 20 miles back from the sale to within 3 miles of the barn where it had been parked in for several years.  My only complaint is the cab door is way too narrow even for a normal person to easily get in and out.
