We went to liberty truck and tractor pull last weekend and won the 4000 and 4500 class. Dad came in second in the 5000 class, this new motor is working great for us! Scott's machine builds a great motor, and McDonald carb and ignition really fixed me up with this carburetor! Yall enjoy the video.

1st, I'll be switching to a wd45 diesel rearend and 38 inch tires shortly. I was running 3.6 mph in that video.

Dumb question-Why switch things around if you are winning? What was your competition? Other ACs on "cute, little 28s" or were there IHs and JDs sporting 38s? Reason I ask is because the last few days I have been having a healthy debate with a couple of fellas on an Oliver forum. One used those words while explaining to me how even the serious AC pullers have gone to "manly" 38s like all Olivers have because they were getting tired of getting beat by 38s due to the "fact" that 28s "just don't work".

That track was 28 dominate, almost all the other tractors I was pulling with had 38s and my 28s just hooked up better and out pulled them. The reason I am switching stuff over is for other local tracks. The diesel rearend will give me 2nd gear for my 28 tires and 1st gear for my 38s. My plan is to keep both sets of tires, to be able to switch back And fourth dependant upon the track. Right now I have a wd rearend.
