 Bought an engine from an owner who said it was knocking badly and then just stopped. Go figure !!!!! Rod cap came loose and eventually broke cap bolts.... Rod was pinned against side of block by the crank.  Does this prove Buda rods are strong or weak ?????

That's a rod for a horizontally opposed engine.
