anything.  where to get parts.  how many made.

14524 of them made in all different versions between 1932 and 1942. Engine is the same as the model U tractor. Depending on what parts you need, most are available with a little searching.

The main thing I need is info on the seat.  It is the tail seat and it is rotted into two pieces.  I will post some pic tomorrow.

Yeah, I want to see some pics of this. Never seen an M(unless it was red). Wait, are we talking crawler? I have seen a few of those, but not specifically an orchard model.

i don't have a good pic.  there is a triangle piece on the seat post and i found a round piece with handles on both sides on a tractor next to it.  the other orchards there has a different tail seat a and one has a top seat.  there is also two regular m. so i wanted to know what was right.  I am going to try to fix the seat.

Nice find. M's are a nice little crawler. I think that would be a wild ride on that tail seat in rough country!

ask everett048 about wild rides on M tail seats.  He is a lucky fellow.

There I go again, typing before thinking. Should have known it was a crawler. Fenders look really cool. Never seen an orchard model. Tail seat looks like it might be just a wee bit dangerous, especially if you were pulling some gang harrows.

I can't help you with the orchard seat - I do think it was a single seat similar to a WC seat on a spring mount.  The orchard units wanted the operator and the tractor to be as low as possible.  The picture shown above is the "normal" M.
We had a customer who almost hated everything but he really loved his M - non orchard.  Said it was the very best he ever had.
Good Luck!
