Not really rode hard and put away wet by no means.

What lot of the people on the site do not know what rough tractor look like from the south.
What they have to deal with terrain of ground that has to be work up and the all the salt water gets on them by being that close to the Ocean.

All the front on these tractor are not busted up or had 10lb of welds on them.

yes the sheet metal is bent up on some of the tractor but I have seen tractor more rusty in Mo.

The 1066 runs good need to check few things on the shifting.

The 766 is Rare there must have not been many built,
To bad some removed the serial tag off the tractor.
usually the fronts will have all types of metal welded to them.

I have one high crop story, it was back in 1972 I was at the local John Deere dealer picking up some parts with Dad and heard a the owner of the dealership telling the truck driver to load that 4020 back up and get it out of here, that brand new 4020 high crop was being delivered to the wrong place this was just South and East of KC Mo. and we don't have high crop tractors around here. The dealer had ordered the wrong tractor and this was not what he thought was coming in. I told Dad we needed to get this one and Dad just said why and as we where leaving the dealer was calling John Deere to get it out of the lot, that high crop set there for weeks intell it moved South. Dad asked the dealer time and time again who ordered that tractor and laughed at him. The old dealer didn't laugh, it cost him a lot it get it transfigured South. lmao

Richard , I have seen you come to work every morning with every shade of tractor on your hands and face from the "ALL NIGHTER" the night before ,are you painting all of these tractors before you sell them ? Or are you selling them as original paint ?

Will look tonight for the part # that is on the cast wheel.

Do not plan on painting any of these tractors to many other things to get done.
Plan to keep the 966 and Case 400 at this time.

not for sure about the rest yet.

Richard,
I bow down to high crop king!:) Great shots of the variety of high crops!
They do look better off the trailer and by themselves. You can start to see the condition, and most don't look any worse than the stuff I have drug home! Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Regards,
 Chris

Richard looks like you have found a lifetimes worth of projects there. Sadly I wouldn't want to part with any of them if it was me. I'm the first batch of photos you have the IH 966. In the background there is something neet looking know steel wheels what is that and do you have any more photos.   Those old war time tractors amaze me.

Dan,
The tractor is John Deere D.

Also we had early John Deere D and broke the front axle when unloading it off the trailer not a fun ride came to fast stop when the axle broke!

here couple picture of the D's.

Also one of my 1926 and 1927 has a spoke flywheel is not correct but it is staying on the tractor.

See picture.

Those D's look really cool. I can't guess what it would have been like when they first rolled off the production lines and into the farms. I often think my grandfather lived in one of the coolest times in history. From horses running everything to modern tractors amazing.   Thanks for the photos.

Took some time but 190XT runs again!

Ed rebuilt the Pump and injectors on this tractor.
awhile back.
This weekend installed the Injectors and pump.

Fuel tank has been clean out and I am working on the fenders.
My dad told me the other day what if the tractor does not run.
So I decided to at least hear run on Temp fuel tank.

Just took for short drive today.
some reason they had disconnected the high low at the valve,
I am glad had salvage platform with missing parts.

Also working on using You tube for loading Video's.

Few more tractors came in today, but no high crops from LA.
Some tractors bought at auctions,
most of the tractors from down south are found by someone for me.

Richard did you tell the family you got help? In the form of that someone down south finding tractors for you that is.... lol
Yup will need more help to fix all of them up and drive them.
I like that g with the mower. That would be the coolest lawn mower.

The high crops come from the south- LA.
Been saying thought it was over, but I do not see many more coming from there for me, as it is getting to the point were I can buy from other places cheaper and really not for sure if I need anymore!

This one came from MN early in the week on Monday night at 10:00pm,
Got to unload from the back of Semi.
but it really was used and came from California originally.
The D 14 Single front high clearance.
Norm Book Allis Chalmers 1914 - 1985 says 6 produced
but sure there is more but it is uncommon anyway.
